SpartanNash Hires New Center Store Merchandising Leader

Brandon Pascha joins SpartanNash after gaining experience at Giant Eagle, Meijer and Target.

Food solutions company and private label supplier SpartanNash has announced its newest VP of Center Store Merchandising. 

Brandon Pascha joins the Michigan-based company effective immediately, bringing nearly 17 years of merchandising experience with him. He most recently served as Vice President of Merchandising, Center Store at Giant Eagle. 

Prior to Giant Eagle, Pasch held leadership roles in merchandising, planning and buying at Meijer and Target. With SpartanNash, he will oversee and develop strategy for the company’s merchandising transformation.

"We're thrilled to have his unique perspective and unyielding work ethic to help improve the in-store guest experience at our retail locations and for our independent wholesale customers."

In SpartanNash’s most recent quarterly results, net sales in Q1 2023 were $2.91 billion, up 5.2% from the comparable quarter the previous year. SpartanNash operates 144 brick-and-mortar grocery stores, primarily under the banners of Family Fare, Martin's Super Markets and D&W Fresh Market, in addition to dozens of pharmacies and fuel centers.
